Production method
Refošk liqueur is produced using high-quality Refošk wine as its base. The wine is carefully combined with selected ingredients following a traditional liqueur-making process, which includes gentle sweetening and maturation.
This method preserves the characteristic depth, fruitiness, and structure of Refošk wine, while transforming it into a refined and harmonious liqueur. Time and controlled resting allow the flavours to round and stabilise.
Traditional use in folk tradition
In Istrian and broader Mediterranean tradition, wine-based liqueurs were traditionally consumed in small quantities:

Detailed description
Refošk is one of the most characteristic red wine varieties of Istria. Its deep colour, pronounced fruit notes, and lively structure make it particularly suitable for transformation into a wine-based liqueur.
Our Refošk liqueur reflects this heritage. In 2024, it was awarded a gold medal and a trophy at an international competition, confirming its quality, balance, and faithful expression of the Refošk character.
Each bottle represents a connection between local wine tradition, patience, and careful craftsmanship, resulting in a liqueur with a distinctive identity and elegant finish.
